Ecolalia is an algorithmic piece made from the survey of spoken words in the entire sound heritage available on the website of the General Archive of the Nation. In order to do this, it was necessary to develop a software to automatize the transcription and the extraction of the audio descriptors of each one of the fragments. Through the trimming and reordering of all the occurrences of the word 'nosotros' ('we'), a sound texture at the limit of the intelligible reveals certain qualities about the voice that we decided to preserve.
